Dr.Lipp talks to the global powerhouse Attracta Courtney about all things glowing skin, must-have beauty products and more! We just looooove her!

Can you tell us about the chosen look? What was the inspiration for it?

The theme was focused around the Fragility of Light – coming out of the season of darkness and into a colourful awakening.

What products did you use to create the look?

I wanted to create a really dewy, fresh appearance on the skin, hence I used lots of serums and moisturisers mixed with illuminating products to get a vibrant healthy flush. The colour pop on the eyelids was to add modernity and showcase how unexpected makeup colours can add freshness to your no-makeup makeup look. I am a big fan of Dr. Lipp’s colour tints which I popped on the lips here to create a beautiful barely-there sheen.

Any tips for anyone at home wanting to recreate a similar look?

With so many great tinted moisturisers and skin enhancing formulas available – this is very much a less is more approach to makeup look which is very easy to achieve at home. After applying your skincare, you can use a creamy concealer mixed in with a pea-size amount of highlighter to conceal around the t-zone area – by adding in the highlighter it immediately adds an illuminated unexpected under-glow which enhances healthy skin. What I love about the Dr.Lipp tints is they can also be used on the cheeks to create a very natural flush of colour which is always beautiful whatever the season.

What would you say your signature beauty look is?

Fresh, Feminine and Always Beautiful with an unexpected accent of colour to add in a modern fresh style!

Absolutely! there are so many multi-tasking fantastic products available now all designed to make applying makeup more efficient. Products are becoming so user friendly, anyone can now become even more creative, playful and artistic when applying their own makeup.

What would you be doing if you were not a makeup artist?

I love educating and sharing information that I feel benefits people. I creatively art direct beauty shoots on many occasions as I really enjoy creating content and have recently become more active on social media instagram stories sharing my makeup and skincare tips with my audience which I love.

What items should everyone have in their kit?

A cleanser that really removes all your eye makeup, and a selection of rich hydrating serums that deeply moisturise the skin. Always finish your skincare routine by applying your favourite broad-spectrum SPF. I am a big fan of only mixing creamy concealers with tinted moisturisers to always get a sheer foundation coverage. Creamy or liquid textured blushers are great as they can double up as a lip tint. Mascara is a must as it’s the best product to bring magic to the eyelashes and to make the eyes look more alluring and awake. Eyeshadow pencils are getting better and better in their formulations and are easier to apply for a full-blown Smokey Eye or just a hint of drama at the outer lash line which will make eyelashes look fuller and healthy. Lips balms are a must have and Dr.Lipp’s lip tints are one of my key essentials!

Who is your dream client?

I love working with all the new emerging models as they have a super confident attitude and love wearing experimental makeup styles.

Do you have any career highlights so far?

Every day is a career highlight because I am always meeting fascinating people from all over the world, creating beautiful images with teams that will be part of the history of our times.

What is the best piece of beauty advice you ever received and what is the best piece you could give?

Best Beauty Advice I have received: Do what you love and you will never work a day in your life! Best Beauty Advice I would give: Don’t be afraid to own your unique beauty – because that is where the magic lies and makes you stand out from the crowd. P.S. Double cleanse at night to keep your skin looking beautiful.
